I am an independent artist can I feature my work on x-ray?
Our main focus is introducing new work from genuine upcoming talent. While the majority of artists we feature are signed artists, have management deals or PR agencies. The team will also consider featuring independent artists that have good “stand out” work. We do have standards for music and visuals. We expect a press release with links to socials.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE MY FEATURE GOES LIVE ?
Depends on if a specific date is agreed as a deadline, otherwise it’s ASAP. Please bear in mind the writers we collaborate with are at high standard - most are already experienced creative industry writers, song writers etc and it takes time to assign, confirm the article, research the artist, write the interview questions / articles up and for them to be edited by the editor. At busy times there may be a backlog.

CAN I ADD YOU TO AN EMAIL LIST E.G PR LIST OR MY NEWSLETTER ?
Yes, but not without consent. You can get this by introducing yourself via the contact email and asking.
If you are not a label under one of the major music groups, or an existing PR partner listed. We expect to be asked if we want to be added to your list. We do not like being added to generic lists and receiving generic emails, many of which are often irrelevant e.g. generic underdeveloped music, amateur standard photography and fast fashion brands.
CAN I CONTACT YOU ABOUT ENQUIRIES DIRECTLY ON SOCIAL MEDIA ?
